In the mid 1960’s, the city of Lindsay saw a need for a community hospital, and with assistance provided by the Hill-Burton Act, they were able to secure funding to build our facility. By the mid 90’s, financial hardships left no alternative but to close.
In spite of this, city leaders still saw the need for a community hospital. They were again able to secure funding, and in the spring of 2002, Lindsay Municipal Hospital reopened.
Today, unlike many rural hospitals, we continue to grow and improve. We are proud of our accomplishments and look forward to a bright and successful future!
