Lindsay Municipal Hospital continues to monitor the rapidly changing COVID-19 situation.  With guidance and partnership from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the Oklahoma State Department of Health, we are prepared should a case of COVID-19 present at the Hospital.  However, we are asking for the public’s help to prevent the spread of the virus in our community.

The Oklahoma State Department of Health advises DO NOT GO TO THE EMERGENCY ROOM UNLESS ESSENTIAL.  Emergency rooms need to be able to serve those with the most critical needs.  If you have symptoms like cough, fever, or other respiratory problems, contact your regular doctor first.  If an individual is seriously ill and requires urgent medical attention because of significant respiratory symptoms (severe shortness of breath, etc.) or other critical symptoms, please seek immediate medical attention at the emergency department.

Please see the following State Department of Health Guidelines for additional information.  You can also go to CORONAVIRUS.HEALTH.OK.GOV or call 877-215-8336 for additional information.

  1. No LMH or DOC employee will be allowed visitors on campus.
  2. No LMH or DOC employee will be allowed on campus, unless on duty.
